Meet Freckles, a New Hope Cattle Dog Available For Adoption
Hi, I'm Freckels. I was dumped on an oil field with my puppy in Midland, TX but was picked up by a kind person who helped me on my way to a better life. Someone in Texas kept my puppy, but the good samaritan who found me wanted better for me and sent me on my way to Colorado. I really do enjoy the cooler weather here in Colorado and enjoy sunbathing in the backyard. I am potty trained and great with other dogs; cats not so much (they look like a tasty treat). I really don't like being in my kennel and I can get out of it pretty easy. Since I don't like my kennel my foster mom allows me to stay out of my kennel and just locked in a spare bedroom when she is gone. I am alwasy a good girl and just curl up on my dog bed and sleep the day away, never chewing anything I'm not suppose to. I am not your typical cattle dog personality. I am more of huge couch potatoe who just wants to cuddle up and take a nap right next to my foster mom. A daily walk around the block or playdate with another dog is enought exercise for me. I am about 64 lbs right now but should probably be closer to 80 lbs, so I am a big girl. My foster mom thinks I may be mixed with pointer but no one knows for sure. I really just want a family to call my own and cuddle with whenever they will let me. I hope to meet you soon.
