Meet Chap, a New Hope Cattle Dog Available For Adoption

Chap

 Meet Chap

Chap

Chap is a 3 year old heeler who looks to be pure bred. He was found out on the streets in Eastern CO by some Good Samaritans who took care of him for awhile but had no luck at finding his owners after a month... so New Hope welcomed him.

Chap is a very sweet and loving boy. He loves other dogs, big and small. He shows a little too much interest with the kitty in his foster home so should probably go to a home without a cat friend. He is quickly learning his potty training and crate training...we think he should have it down in no time.

We don’t exactly no Chap’s past but it appears as if he is fearful of some men and can be reactive towards them. He does very well with women and his adopter will need to understand that this behavioral issue will take time to work through and that training will be needed. We recommend that Chaps adopter be familiar with the healing breed and he should probably not be adopted out to a firs time dog or heeler owner.

Chap cannot wait for his forever family to come along. He is so deserving. Apply within today!
