Meet Olive, a New Hope Cattle Dog Available For Adoption

 Meet Olive

Olive

Hi there! My name is Olive and I am 1 year and 7 months old. I am incredibly adorable and know it too. I love people, playing with dogs, and peanut butter. The only thing bigger than my ears is my heart. I am almost finished with 6 weeks of positive reinforcement training and am a fast learner. I know sit, down, let’s go, hup, find it, and off. I also know how to target and am learning self control around food. When my food or a tasty snack are being prepared for me, I lay down and wait patiently until I hear the word “release”. YUM...

I am 99.99% potty trained, but sometimes if I get really excited I piddle. I am crate trained on command and have no problem sleeping through the night. I love a thorough morning belly rub to wake me up before my walk. I love to sleep, cuddle, and sprawl out on the couch with my humans. I love toys, chewing on bones, and puzzle games to keep my mind active.

I am looking for a home with a big backyard where I can zoom around. I am very high energy, but am a bit afraid of going on walks. I need a safe place like a yard to get my energy out. If I am cooped up for too long or am very afraid I will jump and nip (never aggressively). I really need a home where I can get consistent exercise and training.

In addition to what New Hope provides I also come with a whole basket of toys and chews, a bed, crate, treats and treat bag, dog food, waste bags, grooming supplies, and a whole lotta love!!
