Meet Mulligan, a New Hope Cattle Dog Available For Adoption

 Meet Mulligan

Hi. I'm Mulligan. I arrived from rural Kermit, TX at the end of May. I was found on an abandoned piece of property with my doggie girlfriend Mulberry and my eight offspring. New Hope saved my whole family and all my puppies have been adopted since. Mulberry and I are still looking for our forever homes.

When i first arrived I was very scared of everything around me and I did not even know what a leash was. I have been in a foster home since arriving and I am slowly coming out of my shell. I now know what a leash is and I get excited when I see it because I know it means that I get to go outside. I am crate trained but my potty training is still a work in progress.

I get along swimmingly with other dogs and I hope that my forever home would really have another doggy companion as it makes me feel more comfortable and I like to follow their lead. I would also do well in a home with cats as the one in my foster home honeslty scares me a little.

I need a forever family to call my own that is willing to work with me and be patient as I learn that humans are not scary. Even though I let my foster pet me, new situations and people are very scary to me and I need lots of time to adjust. A quiter family with no kids would probably be ideal.

I really hope to find a family to call my own soon, are you it?
