Meet Henry, a New Hope Cattle Dog Available For Adoption

 Meet Henry

UPDATE:  I have found my forever home up in the mountains!!!  Thanks to everyone for believing in me!!  Henry

Hey there, my name is Henry.  I was rescued by a wonderful lady who found me chained to a tree at a yard sale in Missouri.  Up to that point, she believes I probably lived my whole life chained up, neglected, and possibly abused.  But I'm a sweet boy, despite all that.  I don't have a lot of obedience training, but I come when called, keep a clean crate, and am mostly house trained.  I can be a little defensive when feeling uncomfortable, so it's best if you approach me cautiously with lots of love and patience.  I don't really feel safe with hugs and kisses yet.  Please don't startle me though, I can get nervous and a little snappy.  I love playing with my foster family's dog and so far seem to do well with other dogs.  As long as my furever home gives me patience and love, I know I'll be a wonderful dog!
