Meet Alice, a New Hope Cattle Dog Available For Adoption

Alice

 Meet Alice

Alice

Alice was found as a stray in Baxter County AR.  The Animal Control Officer c tries to ontact one of our rescue partners when they find a special animal in need and reached out for this girl.  She is about 1 yr, very friendly, and looking for love and pets from a family.  She should also be a great hiking and camping buddy due to her breed.

Since Alice has been in foster care in Colorado, we notice that she is starved for attention .....   Would be ok as an only dog or a family where the other pets are willing to share their people!  Still fearful but coming around slowly. Does ok in a crate and lets you know she’s not happy but does settle down.   We are not sure about her past but guessing a tough one ..  loves going on leash walks and car rides    I have been taking her out in public to let her know  it’s ok but do use caution in meetings due to shyness.  I’m sure she will be a great companion and right now older kids are best due to her not being sure of things
