Meet Buddy, a New Hope Cattle Dog Available For Adoption

 Meet Buddy

Meet super special Buddy! A 3.5 year old Australian cattle dog who has had a rough past and now feeling safe. He is very submissive, often drops to the floor when scared and uncertain. He is friendly with all dogs, cats, kids and people. He is a typical cattle dog, loves his new active life style, hiking and running and does well on a leash. Buddy did not appear to have had the finer things in life, when given a lamb bone or raw hide not sure what to do. After exercise, Buddy likes to settle down. He is quiet in the house and can be trusted when left alone. He is not a fan of his crate. Buddy seems to feel more secure with his foster sisters around, loves having a pack or friend to hang and play with. Once he knows his family, he is extremely loyal and just follows behind, great recall. Buddy is a faster learner and now fully potty trained. As Buddy is coming out of his shell, he is showing his true cattle dog colors, can be quite a herder, tends to have a hard playful nip at times. Therefore, recommending he be only with kids 12 + years old and a family that is familar with the breed. His foster family just absolutely loves him, and is hoping to find him a forever home where he can feel secure and be active daily on the Colorado trails. If interested in meeting Buddy, please fill out the adoption forms. He has lots of love to give!
