Patches - Courtesy Listing

My name is Patches and I was relinquished to Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital as my owner was in a car accident and was moved to an assisted living facility and couldn’t take me.

She is very sweet and loves interacting with the staff. She needs to lose about 15-20 pounds (already working on it). She needs to be on a hydrolyzed protein diet.

She is not fazed by the other dogs in the hospital and was recently been introduced to a cat and dog in a home and had no reaction. They also trimmed her nails with no issue.  She has been through a lot but is really warming up and trusting our staff. A new home would need to expect a transition period. When she went home with one of our techs, she paced and whined for some time. She definitely needs time to feel safe.

Please let us know if you are interested in providing Patches with her forever home.  You can contact Heidi at Wheatridge Animal Hospital for more information.
