Meet Margie, a New Hope Cattle Dog Available For Adoption

 Meet Margie

My shelter name is Margie, but my foster family calls me Penny. It just seems to suit me better. I arrived from New Mexico, where I was found as a stray. My foster family thinks that I didn't spend much time inside before I got to Colorado because everything is so new to me! I am quickly learning what is okay to chew on (they tell me no legos or remotes after I took some nibbles) and how to walk on a leash. I am very smart and learned how to go up and down the stairs and onto sofas and beds in no time. I sleep in my crate at night and potty outside. I am a high energy and loyal gal. I love belly rubs and to explore the yard outside with my dog foster brother. My enthusiasm for everything and wanting to play 24/7 makes him very nervous though. And I tend to growl when my dog foster brother gets too close to the person I am with. I snuggle well with my human foster brother, who is 8 years old. Once I find the right home, with lots of patience and a family willing to teach me, I will be a great dog.
