Meet Dash, a New Hope Cattle Dog Available For Adoption

 Meet Dash

Dash is a big lunk ... very tall ... possibly a lab mix. He has a laid back kinda personality, and is very, VERY Velcro. When Dash came to us he was full of wariness. However, he has bonded with his foster quickly and continues to blossom. He hasn't demonstrated any aggression or destructiveness (except for with plush toys), but can play rough and tends to get mouthy and jabby with his paws. So he may be better suited for a home with no small children. He has some separation anxiety (again, not destructive) and tends to howl when left alone. He loves to go for car rides and hikes, and would go everywhere with you if he could. He is good off leash and a little afraid of other dogs when he first meets them, but then does great once he gets to know them. Dash would probably make a good playmate for a rambunctious pup but loves being the center of attention and primary receiver of belly rubs. All this add up to a dog that is an absolute joy to have around.
