Meet Fergus, a New Hope Cattle Dog Available For Adoption

Fergus

 Meet Fergus

Fergus

Hello! My name is Fergus and I am 30lbs of love. My foster family doesn’t know much about my past but I was found as a stray in New Mexico and am very excited to have made my way to this dog loving state! My favorite part of my foster home is my foster brother. We play all the time (even though he’s so tall I can stand underneath him!) and then we like to snuggle together at night. I think I would benefit from a sibling in my forever home to help me feel comfortable and continue to teach me what it’s like to be a loved part of a family! I am very shy around new people and it takes me a little while to warm up, so some patience is necessary with my new owners. Once I get to know you though, I just want to snuggle and make little happy grunts when petted. I do have a strong prey drive and I really perk up when I see cats, so probably best that I don’t live with any. I love going on walks, I’m getting more comfortable in the car and I can’t wait to find a forever adventure family!
