Meet Rodeo, a New Hope Cattle Dog Available For Adoption

Rodeo

 Meet Rodeo

Rodeo

Rodeo was hit by a car and has both hips broken . We chose to have surgery done in TX as he is in excruciating pain yet walked in the vet clinic where the staff was amazed. We did blood work, X-rays on chest to check on any internal bleeding and his lower body. He is Heartworm negative, no erlichea, but was covered with ticks! Right now he is on pain management and antibiotics. We got the call from Shelter2rescue who just happened to be there for other dogs as shelter was 10 min away from walking him down to the euthanasia room as his 3 day stay was up. How could we not help? The surgery is going to be costly as it is being done by a specialist who does hip surgery often as it happens alot in rural tx. We are hoping to start a go fund me once we set it up if interested. Of course we will update his condition too. Just another reason to rescue!!!!
