Meet Lexi, a New Hope Cattle Dog Available For Adoption

Lexi

 Meet Lexi

Lexi

Lexi came to New Hope Cattle Dogs from the Navajo Reservation near Gallup NM. She is extremely shy of people but is slowly getting better since we brought her pup Norman, who looks like a fluffy black teddy bear to bring her out of her shell..She is still hesitant to come take food from the foster's hand but she will get there. WE think she has never lived inside but she is adjusting to that everyday. Lexi appears to be housebroken as she holds it through the night and by taking her out she will always go....She is learning to finally play with toys and will go in a crate but when you go to try and close it she bolts out so we are working on that. She will get there and is adoptable right now but only if the home is willing to work with her.....Lexi loves playing with dogs and also the snow......but still needs to gain trust in humans
