 Meet Momma dog

Momma dog

Momma-dog was dropped at a shelter in Gallup, New Mexico with her litter of 5 puppies. Now that her puppies have been weaned and adopted out, Momma has come to Colorado to find her forever family. She is a very sweet and sensitive dog that doesn't have a mean bone in her body. Loud/sudden or strange noises and sudden movements make her a bit nervous, but she gets past it quickly with a little reassurance. Riding in cars is something Momma has not been accustomed to, so that can cause some nervousness as well. She gets along with cats, other dogs - as long as they aren't too pushy or overbearing, and probably just about anything or anyone. She is potty-trained, walks nicely on a leash, and is not food aggressive. Momma's ideal home would be with a loving family that is patient and gentle while she adjusts, and ideally include at least one other nice, confident dog. This is one very special girl that is sure to be a dedicated, loving, loyal companion for whoever decides (is lucky enough) to adopt her.
