 Meet Xena

Xena

Hi, I’m Xena and I'm around 10-12 years old. For a long time, I was happy with my person and her other dogs, but then she crossed the rainbow bridge, leaving us behind. We roamed the yard but nobody took care of us for months, except a kind neighbor who would stop by to give us food and water. Then some other nice humans took me on a long car ride to another place called Colorado. I was not feeling very well from being outside for so long, but I went to the dog doctor with my new foster person. I get lots of treats with pills inside, which have made me feel better. I love to take long, slow walks to the park, where there are so many things to smell. I cannot run like I did when I was younger, but I am slowly getting stronger, so that we can explore more and more of the neighborhood each day. We often see other dogs, which is nice. At home, I sit wherever my people are; they talk to me often and sometimes we cuddle. I would like to find a forever home with people who appreciate a quiet, gentle, wise cattle dog; I will love them!
