Meet Fae, a New Hope Cattle Dog Available For Adoption
**Special Needs**
Well I have some good news and I have some not so good news. The good news is that I was rescued from an Oklahoma shelter in January and it has changed my life. I am happy, athletic and loving and am thriving in my foster home. The not so good news is that after multiple vet exams and testing, it has been discovered that I have metal fragments in my rear, most likely from being shot. The fragments are covered with scar tissue and it impacts the way I go potty (potty #1). My foster mom can talk to you more about what that means. We are still working towards a long-term solution and I am not giving up hope. Like many others, I am a survivor. The fragments do not impact my athleticism and I can run extremely fast and can jump on top of the dining table from a standstill. I guess the table top trick is frowned upon. I play very well with my canine foster siblings and I love walking. I love walking so much that I bark with joy for the first 10 minutes of my walk. Mom is not as joyful during that time. I am spayed and heartworm negative and am up to date on my vaccinations. You can see more of my beauty in action on mom’s Instagram page itheeledme. Woof!
