Meet Zippy, a New Hope Cattle Dog Available For Adoption

 Meet Zippy

Zippy

Hello! My name is Zippy and while I am very zippy and wiggly (as my name implies) I'm also very happy cuddling up next to my people no matter the time of day. I am incredibly sweet, love getting pets and belly rubs and I'm told I talk in my sleep. I can get very excited and springy at times and tend to nip whatever part of my foster parent's body is closest, so I probably wouldn't be the best option for a household with young kids. I get along with both my foster siblings (one male and one female) and am slowly learning how to play with them. I think I would be happy as an only child or as an addition to your fur-family! I do get pretty nervous in new situations, but with a little coaxing and reassurance, I tend to calm down and get more comfortable. I am not the best leash walker, but I know I will get better with time and more experience. Right now, I'm just not sure what's happening, and I walk circles around my foster parents and try to hide between their legs with passing cars. I am working on learning basic commands and some boundaries but I am a VERY good listener and I learn quick! I also have not had a single accident in the house and am very good about holding it until I'm let outside. If you're looking for a great adventure buddy and have time and patience to train me and show me how great Colorado can be, put in an application so we can meet!
