Meet Natsu, a New Hope Cattle Dog Available For Adoption

 Meet Natsu

Natsu

Happy, gentle and kind. Allow me to introduce myself…my name is Natsu and I was rescued from a rural shelter in Kansas when a transport partner advocated on my behalf. I have been living with broken bones for who knows how long. My elbow was fractured and healed in such a way that my front leg hangs at an angle. I still use the leg for balance and I like to ask for affection by giving you a bent leg hug. My rear femur is fractured at the top and I most likely will have FHO surgery to rectify. I am on pain meds right now and although I am broken, I am very able. I can run fast to try and catch the squirrels and I can jump on the bed. I do like walking, especially if I am with a doggie friend. I love dogs and would like to have a dog sibling in my forever home. I am still learning to trust people and do best if you approach me from a crouched or seated stance. I haven’t had any accidents in the house and I like to lay at the back door or in the backyard and watch the world go by. There are some pictures and videos of me on Instagram on the page itheeledme. I am neutered and heartworm negative and will receive my last vaccine on 10/8. Please inquire about me soon. PS: I do not like thunderstorms or fireworks but I do love stuffed toys.
