Meet Harrie, a New Hope Cattle Dog Available For Adoption

Harrie

 Meet Harrie

Harrie

Harrie seems to be very smart and a quick learner. He knows sit and is learning that he doesn’t go through the door first. Harrie can be food assertive, not aggressive, but he is still learning that hands are not part of the treat.. He’ll need work in that. A good eater., Harrie is a table/counter surfer if he smells food or treats. Harrie sleeps through the night quietly in his crate. For the most part he is potty trained but he is a patio pooper if you don’t go out with him to the grassy area. He does stands by the door when he wants to go out. Harrie plays independently and loves to shake his toys. Very interested in the chickens so maybe no small furry or feathery animals until he can be tested more. He's very quiet for a young dog and seems to have a good nature. Looks you in the eyes when you talk to him and comes quickly when called. Harrie is working on his leash walking - he loves the Z walking pattern - working on it! He’s a snuggler if you let him on the sofa with you. He’ll pile up half on and half off of you and take a nap. He wants to play with another dog but may need more experience on what is ok and what is enough. Harrie is a sweet pup looking for some loving guidance in his fur-ever home.
