Playful • Friendly • Adaptable • Hello! My name is Dexter. I was rescued from Pampa, TX and have been spending time with a family in Colorado. I am medium energy and love playing with other dogs. I would like another playful dog in my next home or a chance to socialize and play with doggie friends. I love people and I love my current family. Sometimes when they leave the house, I can whine or bark but I settle down and sleep after a short period of time. Over the holiday, there were several people and dogs visiting my home and I charmed everyone. I am a good boy. I know some commands like Sit and Down but could use practice with others like when my family tries to call me off a scent. I can be very focused. I love riding in the car and walking or hiking but sometimes I pull on the leash when I want to see another dog. My family can tell you more about me so please ask to meet me soon.
