Coming soon from Oklahoma! River and Rukus were owner surrenders due to moving. They have lived with dogs and a cat. They are estimated to arrive in Colorado on 3/8. Notes from the Oklahoma foster: Ruckus is a fun little guy that loves to play with the other dogs and enjoys human attention, but not a fan of a leash, he has great recall and sticks close to your heels when walking the property, if he runs ahead he always circles back to check in. As much as he loves attention, if he thinks you want to catch and contain him he tries to avoid you, but he goes willingly into a crate (expecting a treat reward), sleeps through the night and sits for a treat and his meals. He will nip your pant leg when he's excited and he barks at the horses through the fence. He's a fun pup that really wants to please but wants to do it his own way! More info to come after Rukus settles into his Colorado foster home. Updated News: Rukus got his leg caught in the cattle gate at his OK foster home and is having an FHO surgery for the hip growth plate. Additionally, he has been neutered in Oklahoma. Rukus is rolling with the punches and will be good as new!
