Meet Clifford, a New Hope Cattle Dog Available For Adoption

 Meet Clifford

Clifford

Hello! My name is Clifford and I am a big red dog. Well, actually I am more brown in color and look very shepherdy in some photos. I have a big head and a bobbed tail that has its own mullet. I was rescued from the Aztec, NM shelter because they noticed my sweet demeanor. I was scared at first but my personality is really shining through. At home, I am kind and mellow with a tender heart. I like to cuddle on the couch and put my head on your heart. I am respectful and playful with my small canine siblings. I know how to use the doggie door but might need a reminder not to mark my places inside. Oops. I love walking and it’s really important that I continue this daily habit. On leash I am confident and I know I was born to move. Along with my confidence, I have become reactive on leash to most other dogs. I don’t want any dog to hurt me or my sisters! I will need this to be a top training priority. My foster mom is super attached to me and doesn’t want to let me go but I’d kinda like to see what other offers are out there. No offense, Mom! Please ask to meet me so we can walk, walk, walk and then cuddle on the couch. Talk soon, Cliff.
