Meet Shaw, a New Hope Cattle Dog Available For Adoption

 Meet Shaw

Shaw

Hi, Shaw here! I came from Clovis, NM with my stray friend Hobbs. I’m about 2 years old, neutered, and up to date on my vetting. My foster is thrilled to report that I love dogs, people, and children. I got to meet some very small children at New Hope’s April adoption event and I adored them! I laid right down for belly rubs and was very gentle with them even though I can be mouthy, pawsy, and jumpy sometimes. I had so much fun playing with the other dogs too. I would love to have a dog friend in my furever home, but I would be okay with just my people too. I love food and usually take my treats gently. I’m learning how to sit, shake, and lay down and I’m already crate trained and house trained (excepting for excited wees). I take corrections well and I’m eager to please. I don’t pull the leash on walks, but I like to wander and might trip you instead. My fur is super soft and I have a funny black “m” shaped marking on my behind. I can’t wait to go to my furever home, so please submit your application for me!
