Meet Goldie, a New Hope Cattle Dog Available For Adoption

 Meet Goldie

Goldie

Goldie is a gentle, sweet soul with a heart full of hope for a kind and loving home she so deserves. While initially shy and sometimes startled by sudden movement, this special girl is learning every day what it means to feel safe and loved. She is eager to trust you and once she does, you'll see she's a lovable and silly goof ball, flinging her toys (and the occassional blueberry she wasn't sure she wanted to eat) into the air and getting an adorable case of the zoomies. While she is gaining confidence with new people and experiences, her overall demeanor is calm. She has striking golden eyes and loves cuddling up next to you for some scratchies around her neck and ears. Goldie is crate trained and will put herself to bed on her own. She is potty trained and learned the dog door quickly. She gets along well with other dogs and also cats. She is very eager to please and has picked up basic commands quickly. She is very food motivated, but soft to eat from your hand. She'd be a wonderful running and hiking partner. She is walking well on a slip leash but additional encouragement and training will solidify. Goldie has everything needed to quickly become a loving part of your family.
