Hello! My name is Roper and I arrived on 4/5 from Pampa, TX. I was found with another dog near a busy highway. I am 3 years old, neutered, handsome and medium energy. I may need some time to adjust to city living as I can be vocal when I see something new like a big truck while I am riding in the car or a squirrel in the backyard. I have a very high pitched bark that you will hear when I see these things. I know how to use the doggie door and am going potty outside. I enjoy walking and cuddling. I don’t enjoy windshield wipers. Overall, I am good with other dogs but sometimes I like to pretend like I am tough and it ends in a squabble between dogs. I need help smoothing this part of me out. I mind my own business when walking in the neighborhood and I don’t react when dogs bark at me from behind the fence on my walks. I can even approach other dogs at the park but my foster mom keeps an eye on my face to make sure Mr. Tough Guy doesn’t come out. I am very good and loving with people.
