Hello! My name is Rupert and I know it well. I had a very rough start to life like many of my friends here. I came from a hoarding situation so I do not trust people and can be very fearful. Once I get comfortable my Cattle Dog personality starts to shine. I'm incredibly smart and very inquisitive. I'm a busy, active guy and prefer to have a dog buddy to keep me feeling safe. I'm not the dog to take to a dog park or hiking off leash. When I get scared, I panic and run. I can be mouthy especially if I feel trapped so children probably wouldn't be a good idea for me. I need a strong pack leader, preferably one with Cattle Dog experience. I have had professional training but I am not a "push button" dog.
