Hanalei needs a new home. She is a two year old heeler mix breed pup. She is very smart, very sweet (a snuggler!), and has tons of energy. We adopted her from Colorado Puppy Rescue when she was two months og age and she has been a great dog, but is not the right fit for our home, as we have young children and should not be in a home with children under 12 years of age. She currenlty lives in a house with a small dog and cats. She does well with the dog and tolerates the cats. The trainer who evaluated her said she would be a great working dog on a ranch or farm in a home with no children or older children.
